TRADA University and Special Projects Manager

We are looking to recruit someone to look after our busy University Engagement Programme as well as manage a range of technical projects on behalf of TRADA and the timber industry.

The role will be based at our High Wycombe offices and will involve a fair degree of travel throughout the UK.

The University Engagement Programme proactively seeks to encourage lecturers of architecture, engineering and other building-related courses to teach timber design well.  To facilitate this TRADA has developed a range of free-to-use, online teaching materials, and also runs and supports high-profile design competitions for students.

The role also involves taking on a diverse range of technical projects to address industry needs as they arise in order to support our information and design guidance.  At the simple end, projects may require a few meetings with relevant stakeholders.  At the other end, projects may lend themselves to putting together bids for external funding.

If you believe that you have plenty of drive and enthusiasm for this role, coupled with relevant experience in technical selling/marketing, we would like to hear from you.  In the first instance, please contact Rupert Scott on rscott@trada.co.uk.  There will be a formal selection process which we can enter you into.
