Low carbon: how does timber fit the bill

TRADA Technology research officer Miles Brown argues that timber can play a significant role in helping the construction industry reach its energy target.

The UK Government has ambitious plans to transform the energy efficiency of construction, acknowledging the oft-quoted words of Norway's Gro Harlem Brundtland, that "sustainable development is that which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs".
