Cullinan Studio is a cooperative architects practice, working in education, housing and culture. For over five decades we have maintained an international reputation for designing successful, sustainable buildings and places that respond creatively to their context, climate and local culture. We have particular expertise in designing innovative timber structures that express the quality and beauty of the material. We are a diverse and agile collective that engages in research, and invests in both people and pioneering technology so that we can approach each project with fresh thinking. We believe that design informs construction and vice versa, so being involved in the whole process is our fundamental aim. The craft of our architecture reflects how well we have listened to everyone we encounter along the design journey.
