Micro release - The use of microwave technology for the recovery of wood fibre from MDF

This project was set out to develop a novel method for the recycling of fibres and particles from timber based board products. FIRA invented a technological approach utilising microwaves that would achieve such an aim and this research programme was dedicated to optimising the process and proving the concept at laboratory scale.
