This wood for good fact sheet is an overview of some of how to reduce climate change, with an emphasis of the role which timber plays.
The sheet contains a number of statistics relating to the growth of Europe's forests and the carbon sink which they provide. It also describes some of the ways in which timber can remain carbon neutral even once its original commissioned purpose is over, including recycling and the use of wood waste to generate energy.
