Construction product manufacturers continued to see increasing sales during 2015 Q1. 33% of heavy side manufacturers and 14% of light side manufacturers reported that sales were higher than the previous three months, although this is lower than the respective balances of 44% and 87% reported by heavy and light side firms in the final quarter of 2014. 50% of heavy side firms and 29% of light side firms also
reported that sales in Q1 were higher in compared to a year earlier. Although these were the lowest balances in seven quarters, manufacturers were optimistic over the outlook for the next 12 months.
